Enrolment for all ENGIN students for 2012/13 will be in two stages:

(1)         Central enrolment with the University, which will be online only

(2)         School enrolment, which you are required to attend in person

You will be invited to complete Central enrolment on SIMS Online sometime in August – the University’s Registry will be in touch with instructions.

Please ensure that this is completed IN ADVANCE of attending School enrolment (dates given below). This is extremely important because it ensures that your access to teaching and learning facilities (e.g. Learning Central) will be in place before the start of any teaching or induction activities. Delays in completing Central online enrolment may jeopardise this, and could have a knock-on effect on your examination registrations.

At School Enrolment (details below) you will collect vital programme information, your teaching timetable, and receive induction programme information, which will involve activities in the rest of the week following on from Enrolment. You will also have the opportunity to speak to relevant academic staff and ask questions about your programme. 3rd years should bring their project selection sheets, if they have not been previously submitted.

Venue:  All School enrolment for undergraduate and MSc students will take place in Rooms S0.26/0.29, South Building, Queen’s Buildings.  Research students (PhDs) should attend the Research Office in S2.04 on the day of their arrival in Cardiff.
